Who can apply for our initiatives?

Wine Unify was founded on the belief that the wine industry wants and needs to have a more diverse set of representatives within it.

This starts from the very beginning when someone is interested in wine - we want to welcome them. It then transitions as they grow within the wine industry - we want to elevate them. And finally, when successful and thriving, there is still more work to do - we want to amplify their incredible voices.

We want to be a catalyst for change and feel strongly about inclusion within the wine industry. Our hope is that these initiatives will engage individuals who might otherwise feel excluded while simultaneously empowering the minority voices that exist within the wine industry today. Our short list of requirements to apply for our initiatives is as follows:

• Be of legal drinking age (over 21 in the United States)

• Reside within the United States

• Identify as a non-white, underrepresented minority (our awards are intended for those who identify as a person of color)

• Have a desire to learn more/grow within the wine industry

• Be willing to apply your time and energy to complete the education opportunities provided by our Welcome and Elevate Initiatives

• Want to spread your love of wine to others
