Apply for Elevate Awards: WSET LEVEL 3

Please read the following carefully and use the below form to apply for our Elevate Awards.

These awards are open to BIPOC who are currently working in the wine industry seeking WSET Level 3.

APPLICATION DETAILS:

  1. We suggest that you review the application form first and then prepare your answers to each question. You may find it easier to copy and paste your answers from a Word Document. Although this application allows you to save your work and continue later, we strongly suggest that you save your answers separately just in case of an error.

  2. All applicants must have a professional reference from any field of work experience in order to complete this application. It will need to be uploaded as either a PDF or Word Document.

  3. Wine Unify anticipates receiving applications from many deserving candidates. With so many applicants who deserve an award, there is certain criteria that our committee uses to select recipients. Up to 10 Elevate Awards: WSET Level 3 will be granted in 2024. By filling out this application, you are applying for consideration for a Elevate Award. You may review our evaluation criteria at the bottom of this page. If you do not receive an award this time around, we encourage you to continue to apply!

Our Selection Criteria:

Our selection process combines both merit and need as portrayed by the responses given to the above application. We endeavor to make fair and sound selections based on the following:

  1. All written responses and personal statements will be read anonymously by our selection committee.

  2. We are looking for strong, passionate answers that allow us to understand the motivations of each applicant.

  3. We review your professional reference who can vouch for your work ethic and desire to learn. We also consider your stated desire to complete coursework.

  4. We look at each application holistically; no one factor determines whether any applicant will be awarded an Elevate Award.

  5. We require that applications be submitted between the dates of October 25 and November 15, 2024, and will not accept applications submitted after that deadline.
